Homesick

Album cover design for Homesick and single Escape, a musical pop trilogy by Hawaii-born, Japan-based artist mikah. The project follows a deeply personal narrative arc of leaving home, confronting oneself, and ultimately redefining what "home" means. The cover takes a minimalist approach, stripping the visual language down to its essentials to mirror the emotional stillness at the heart of the music. Every design decision was made in service of the trilogy's themes: displacement, longing, and quiet acceptance. The restrained aesthetic invites the listener inward, reflecting mikah's journey of finding belonging.
